Calm hands – Mindful pasta shaping
Marie Adler & Gianmarco Bonetti
Things often have to happen quickly in the kitchen: Bring water to the boil, thrown in the pasta, sauce on top and gobble it up. The most important thing is to be fed. The pleasure may or may not be there. We want to change that.
With a calm hands, we look at the conscious production of pasta and its consumption. The different shapes, materials and surfaces of our products lead to a meditative experience. The pasta dough is rolled out with the tools and thus gets its specific shape.
The stone pine relaxes with its essential oils and warms the hand.
The marble feels a little heavier and is pleasantly cooling.
The silicone is soft and elastic with a playful shape and colour that has an energizing effect.
When using the products and eating the noodles, both the palm of the hand and the palate are massaged.
