Fragile Stability – Dripping liquid ceramic patterns with a 3D printer
Anna Maxwell
“Fragile stability” is a series of experiments based on dripping liquid ceramic patterns with a 3D printer. Grasshopper was used to generate parametric patterns, the pattern structures were built in such a way that the objects have a high stability using as little material as possible. The drops form a self-supporting structure through material overlays, which leads to open structured ceramic objects. In the process, many different objects and insights into the material porcelain and the printing of drops, were obtained.
