OFFTrack - Theo Lipinski, Mathilde Zimmermann
Bicycles are not standardized. Custom bicycle equipment is complex and expensive.
We want to make bikepacking more accessible and affordable! OffTrack is a modular, open-source rack system based on aluminum racks and 3D-printed connectors. The system can be adapted to the wide variety of bicycle types, repaired, reduced, or expanded.
With a self-printable tool, you can bend aluminum racks at the required angle and attach them to your bike or connect them to other racks at an angle or parallel using the printed connectors.
To install the system, knowledge about your own bike is required. Where can you add or remove parts? A visit to a bike workshop or makerspace can help you bring your ideas to life.
Empowerment and self-determination is essential for us. Through this, we aim to promote open source and repair culture much more.
