Professor of Plastic Arts/Sculpture

1962 Born in Neuss; grew up in Potsdam. 1988–1995 Sculpture studies at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle. 1995 Deutsche Telekom Award, Saxony-Anhalt. 1996 Gustav Weidanz Award for Plastic Arts. 1996/97 Public square design for BFW Halle. 1997 Wall design for the Deutsche Telekom SA. directorate 1998 Work scholarship of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. 1999 Work scholarship Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin. 2002–2006 Head of the specialist class for (wooden) sculpture, Applied Arts Faculty of Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau University of Applied Sciences in Schneeberg, Daetz-Center Lichtenstein. Since 2009 Professor at BURG, Art Faculty, in the Figure/Sculptur discipline. 2010–2018 Dean of the Art Faculty.
Solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Bielefeld, Coburg, Dresden, Essen, Halle, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Košice/Slovakia and Seoul/South Korea, etc. Symposia and workshops in Germany and abroad.
