Our concept was about a healthy and tasty alternative to the chocolate rotation moulding of the first week. We wanted to take a playful approach: The soup should be stackable and customizable with toppings, an alternative to conventional packet soups.
To implement this, we decided to use agar as a binding agent.
For the shape, we were inspired by Lego bricks and designed a modular system in Rhino, which we then 3D printed and then moulded in silicone. During the process, the futuristic aspect of our shape came to the fore for us, as our stackable soup barely resembles food and therefore has a dystopian effect. So it could be astronaut food, because uncooked it would be a nutritious soup pudding and cooked it becomes a soup.
